On this website you will find my collection of unique items. I am always on the lookout for new items for this collection. This may sound like a tiring challenge but in fact it is a relaxed proces for me. Only my personal taste inspires my purchases.
 
In my opinion a collection develops when a harmony of elements is present. The first step in that proces is offcourse making choices as to what belongs in the collection. At the same time I like to add different twists. Often an item needs to be transformed to be added to the “CJ gallery”. It is fascinating to me to realise that without actual designing the items , the collection definitely carries my signature.
 
I do all this with the asperation to differentiate myself. After 25 years in commercial design and styling I now use my creative proces to be true to my own taste. This is also the meaning of the company name Cornelis Johannes, which are part of my offical name. The only commercial thought behind this website is the sincere believe that I will encounter people who will appreciate my signature and will enjoy these items for their personal enjoyment or to add a finishing touch to proffessional projects.
